Cico®Zincrich 1K is a one component zinc rich for corrosion protection of steel reinforcement in concrete. It exhibits fast drying and rapid hardening properties. The design criteria Cico®Zincrich 1K depends on shifting the electro-chemical corrosion cycle from steel reinforcement to zinc, which is more positive charged than steel. Cico®Zincrich 1K acts as a sacrificial anode to protect steel from corrosion.Coating steel with Cico®Zincrich 1K is an essential part of the systematic approach of concrete repair Cico®Zincrich 1K is subjected to be used in both new construction and repair works. For the new construction, it is preferable to be used in water structure concrete, especially those sea water exposed. In such case, it is strongly recommended to coat all the steel of the structure from the foundations to the roof to avoid deferential chloride attack exposure.
