It is recommended to mix the adhesive with water before use and to apply it in a thin, even layer. The tiles should be pressed firmly into the adhesive and allowed to dry for the recommended time before grouting.
Tips:
- Use the mixed material within 2 hours.
- The substrate should be sound and clean.
- Remove the hardened material using mechanical means.
- Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use.
- Allow the installed tiles to remain undisturbed for at least 48 hours.
- Do not add water to the mixture once the mortar adhesive starts to harden.
- Mortar adhesive must not rise between the tile joints higher than halfway the thickness of the tiles.
- Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes and remix briefly without adding further water.
- For mixing use a low- speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency.
- Wet all surfaces (except gypsum board) with clean water before Ceramic Tile Fix application. The surface should appear damp with no water pooling.
